Your Butler
Heavy lifting or nice routes…
There is always an unpredictable element working with kids. However, I think, in some instances, a Butler can help enhance some of the Experiences & Adventures.
I remember my dad and I hired a tuk-tuk for the day in Sri-Lanka. We travelled to Galle to visit the cricket ground where Sri-Lanka’s most famous cricketer, Muralitharan, made so many great sporting memories (my middle name is Murali). Ranga, the driver, was with us, taking us where we wanted, facilitating impromptu stops and being an informal guide. He basically did the “heavy lifting”. We dug a ditch on the beach and we then went to the cinema. Then I started getting this crazy fast-spreading rash. It was spreading everywhere. Ranga made a call and got some clear liquid. The rash was gone in 10 minutes. We never forgot Ranga.
So, we can make a time-based arrangement during your stay. We can have a phone call in advance or on arrival to see if this makes sense. An example of procuring a Butler is as follows:
“We walk to the supermarket across the Common to buy items for a picnic, then go to the Circle of Trees for the picnic and take a walk along Beverley Brook before playing games on the sports pitches (including the pitch where the National Frisbee Championships are held). The amount of time spent on the games will depend on how much time we have left.”
Therefore, the pricing for this is on a half- or full-day basis and is subject to availability as I will not outsource this to anyone else. If I cannot do this, I am happy to have a discussion and I will provide you with a personalised email address to support any Experience.
- 3 hours = £60
- 6 hours = £120
If we do proceed, I will donate 5000% of the fees to the True Volunteer Foundation if you wish to do the same. We will set up a fund to support the Holly Lodge Centre in Richmond Park.
I feel the main audiences this would appeal to are tourists and families who will undertake Adventures.
